About responsibilities
At KLx, you’ll join our IT Ops services unit supporting part of the infrastructure perimeter for our partner, Crédit Agricole Group Infrastructure Platform (CA-GIP). Working in a cluster model, the team collaborates closely with KLx’s software development squads to ensure smooth integration and operational readiness.
We’re looking for a IT Production Support Engineer Lead to maintain the stability and readiness of our Open Systems in RUN mode. This role includes Level 2 support and close coordination with technical and application teams to uphold performance, reliability, and compliance across production environments.
Operational Readiness & Maintenance (MCO)
- Ensure exploitability of solutions in RUN OPEN environments
- Maintain CMDB records and technical documentation
- Manage obsolescence and vulnerability tracking
Scheduling & Supervision
- Define, plan, and execute batch jobs using Control-M
- Monitor real-time processing and job execution
- Respond to incidents (abends, dependency issues, SLA breaches)
Daily Operations
- Launch and monitor production jobs in Open Systems and Control-M
- Perform incident recovery and job restarts
- Manage system resources (disk space, queues, catalogs, etc.)
- Oversee file transfers and resolve related incidents
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide technical support to application teams
- Optimize batch chains and reduce processing times
- Participate in production deployments and change management
- Execute planned and ad-hoc interventions (outside business hours)
Documentation & Reporting
- Draft and maintain operational procedures and runbooks
- Keep documentation up to date
- Produce reports on job performance and system availability
Collaboration & Integration
- Support solution delivery in coordination with CP/ScrumOps
- Act as a technical integrator, ensuring alignment with DevOps practices (automation, security, observability)
Team Leadership
- Facilitate clear communication within the KLx team and with internal CA-GIP stakeholders
- Ensure timely escalation of key issues and promote skill development across the team
Who you are
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Network & Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure Management, or Telecommunications (with a focus on systems and operations) is strongly preferred for this role.
- Solid technical expertise in IT operations, particularly within complex and high-stakes environments
- Skilled in Unix/Linux, Windows terminal and shell scripting
- Experience with Tomcat, Apache, and Java deployments (WAR, EAR, JAR)
- Familiar with Control-M and CFT/Connect:Direct for file transfers
- Good knowledge of Cloud solutions (AWS, GCP)
- Comfortable with Kubernetes and ArgoCD incident analysis
- Proficient in Dynatrace, ServiceNow, and ITSM practices
- Strong troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills
- Fluent in English; French is a real plus
