About responsibilities
You will join the CIB (Corporate Investment Banking) unit of over 100 professionals in Portugal. You’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing complex data workflows in a UNIX environment, leveraging Teradata and Ab Initio to support sustainable finance and digital innovation.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, manage data warehousing operations, and ensure high-performance data processing.
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines using Ab Initio and CONTROL-M to orchestrate batch processes and data flows.
- Navigate and manage UNIX directories, usage patterns, and data storage strategies.
- Use Git for version control, Jira for task tracking, and Confluence, MEGA, Zeenea for documentation and metadata management.
- Ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance across systems while integrating with enterprise applications.
Who you are
- Degree in Computer Engineering or related field
- Senior profile with 5+ years in data engineering
- Experience in the banking domain is a strong plus
- Strong sense of service, autonomy, and ownership
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving and adaptability
