2018
Lisbon was selected as the launchpad for a new IT strategy within Crédit Agricole. A pilot project was initiated with a local partner to assess the viability of building a dedicated tech operation in Portugal.
2020
After the pilot’s success, the model proved scalable. KLx was formally established to centralize and strengthen IT delivery for the group’s entities from Lisbon.
2024
KLx surpassed 500 people, representing more than 15 nationalities. The company now supports multiple areas of banking and insurance through specialized teams.
TODAY
KLx has grown to over 900 people and serves 14 different Crédit Agricole entities. The team’s scope and expertise continue to expand in line with the group’s long-term strategy.
WHAT’S NEXT
With strong foundations in place, KLx is focused on sustainable growth. The goal: to nearly double its workforce, strengthening its role as a key IT enabler within the group.
